Breakthrough NY rapper finally announces a release date and title for her debut album.
She tweeted today that her debut will be called Pink Friday and will launch on November 23.Minaj broke through into the mainstream as part of Lil Wayne's Young Money crew, when she dropped mixtapes that became increasingly hyped in the rap scene.
Her biggest hit came with June's 'Your Love' which snuck into the Billboard 100 Chart at 18, but topped the Rap Chart, the first time an unaccompanied female rapper has done that since 2002.
She has already been nominated as Best New Artist for MTV's forthcoming VMAs and as Choice Breakout Artist at the Teen Choice Awards.
And she took home four BET awards last month, including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Best New Artist.
So it looks like Pink Friday is going to be a big one.
