Styx are the latest band to announce they will perform their classic albums live.
The forthcoming Styx tour will feature complete performances of the 1977 album 'The Grand Illusion' and the 1978 album 'Pieces of Eight'"This is the most unique Styx concert ever," says singer/guitarist Tommy Shaw in a statement. "It's a hybrid experience of enjoying the artistry of the vinyl album and the energy and of our live performance. Some songs have never been performed live!"
The albums featured the now classics 'Come Sail Away', 'Renegade', 'Blue Collar Man' and 'Fooling Yourself'.
Styx formed in Chicago in 1970 and had their first hit song 'Lady' in 1975.
'The Grand Illusion/Pieces of Eight' tour starts in Evansville, IN on October14.
