Aussie rap kings Bliss N Eso are set to release their fourth all-star album ‘Running On Air’.
It's been an incredible two years for the Sydney group, whose third album, 2008's Flying Colours, slow-burned its way to almost platinum sales. The group astonished the industry with their Australia-wide Flying Colours Tour, selling out back-to-back Festival Hall shows playing to over 10,000 punters over both nights.
MCs Bliss and Esoterik, as well as their record-spinner DJ Izm, headed out to record album number four in Michael Gudinski's Victorian highland getaway for six months.
Working with prime Australia producers Hattori Hunzo, Matik, and M-Phazes, Running On Air looks to be the album of their career.
They also managed to snaffle guest spots from local rapper Mind Over Matter, underground UK rhymer Jehst and two incredible coups - gangsta rap legend Xzibit and Wu-Tang Clan mastermind RZA.
In keeping with their hugely successful Flying Colours Live DVD, the boys put together a three-part 'Making Of' film for Running On Air, viewable at their BlissNEso.tv site.
Running On Air is set to capitalise on all their hard work. It will be released digitally and physically tomorrow, Friday July 30.
