Both The Roots and the Chemical Brothers have released freaky new videos.
The Roots are garnering widespread acclaim for their collaborative new album How I Got Over.New song 'The Fire' is the fourth single released from the album, this one featuring soul singer John Legend.
The clip, though, is a grisly WWII-era short film following a crew of recruits and what look like civilian P.O.W.s on some kind of Bataan Death March through the countryside centred around a mysterious box.
Not to be outdone, the Chemical Brothers have a new clip for the third single from their Further album, 'Another World'.
The Brit electro godfathers are renowned for their clever clip concepts and directors Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall have helped them do it again.
A boiling green goo contrasts with throbbing green EQ lines that eventually take the form of a person singing the vocal hook for the song.
Have your mind blown by both below.
