Alternative rockers The Getaway Plan reform to support anti-depression organisation To Write Love On Her Arms.
The Melbourne band broke up in February 2009 and the two shows of the Revival - This Is Not The End Of Your Story event will be the first since then.The event will be held on Friday September 24 at Billboard The Venue in Melbourne.
There will be a performance for the under 18s from 3pm, supported by Stealing O'Neal, Built On Secrets, Cheerleader and an over 18s show from 8pm with Secrets In Scale replacing Built On Secrets.
To Write Love On Her Arms is a non-profit organisation that supports youth struggling with depression, self-injury and suicidal thoughts.
The group has a long-standing association with music, particularly emo and post-hardcore acts and has been endorsed by acts such as Evanescence, Panic At The Disco, Paramore, Boys Like Girls, Underoath, Bayside and Hawthorne Heights.
The Revival - This Is Not The End Of Your Story shows is a one-off reunion for The Getaway Plan.
Tickets for both shows go on sale on Friday August 6.
