Swedish ‘90s pop throwbacks return with two new members and a new single.
The two original producers Jonas Berggren and Ulf Ekberg have enlisted two pretty young things to front a new incarnation of the chart-topping group.The two new singers have been identified as 'Clara' and 'Julia'. Clara is Clara Hagman, a semi-finalist on the Swedish pop idol show where Ekberg was a judge.
Ace Of Base originally collapsed in 2003, failing to properly capitalise on the massive international success of their debut Happy Nation.
The forthcoming album, due out in October, will be their first in eight years. A song, 'Mr. Replay', has emerged, sounding unmistakably like the group's early light euro reggae.
The first official single from the new album will be 'All For You', released to European radio on July 16.
