The new clip for Brandon Flowers’ single ‘Crossroads’ features Charlize Theron as a butt-kicking heroine.
The Killers' singer ramps up for the release of his debut solo album with a Kill Bill-styled clip of avenging angel Charlize Theron rescuing a captive and tortured Flowers. The action-packed clip (for a decidedly wistful song) was directed by Australian filmmaker Nash Edgerton, best known for 2008's The Square and his stunt work in the Matrix trilogy and Star Wars prequels.
The tune is taken from his forthcoming solo debut Flamingo, due out on September 14. Flowers worked on the tracks with U2-collaborator Daniel Lanois, alt-rock and grunge impresario Brendan O'Brien and British pop producer Stuart Price.
Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis guested on the album, and just to reassure fans that The Killers are still in cahoots, Ronnie Vannucci contributed drums.
