Grinderman have released a couple of cinematic trailers in the lead up to their second album, ‘Grinderman 2’.
This trailers set the bar high for the album. They are a tantalizing peek into the mindset of Nick Cave and co and leaves myself, for one, dying to hear/see/whatever more despite not containing more than a few seconds of music.The trailers were directed by Australian born director John Hillcoat who has directed a number of music videos from acts including 'Manic Street Preachers', Therapy?, Depeche Mode and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' 'Babe I'm On Fire'.
The first single off Grinderman 2 is 'Heathen Child'. This album will be in stores on September 13 via Mute Records.
