The Neil Young album `Greendale` has been made into a comic book.
Writer Joshua Dysart and artist Cliff Chiang have adapted the storyline of the concept album into a 160-page comic.The 2003 album, which Neil Young and Crazy Horse performed as a complete piece, was about the environment and corruption as seen through the lives of the Green family.
The comic book centres of Neil's musical character Sun Green. Young worked with Dysart on the project and approved the comic book before it was published.
The comic book novel will be released by Vertigo publications this week.
