Bon Jovi often raise the roof but last night in London they were on top of the roof. Bon Jovi were the first band ever to play on the O2 Arena rooftop.
In London for a 12-date residency at the new venue, the band climbed on top of the O2 to perform four songs from their world tour setlist.Passers-by heard 'We Weren't Born To Follow' and 'Superman Tonight' from the recent album The Circle, as well as 'It's My Life' and 'You Give Love A Bad Name'.
They also re-dedicated The Lyric Wall, a giant wall inside the venue, with their words.
Bon Jovi opened the O2 on June 24, 2007.
