A Tribe Called Quest Plan Two Australian Shows

Iconic hip-hop trio A Tribe Called Quest will play their first ever Australian shows in August.

A Tribe Called Quest, featuring DJ Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Kamaal Ibn John Fareed (aka Q-Tip), Malik Taylor (aka Phife Dawg) and Jarobi White will perform in Sydney and Melbourne only.

A Tribe Called Quest formed in 1985. Jarobi left after the first album but joined for the reunion in 2006.

The group got back together prior to that without Jarobi on November 13, 2004, the night Ol' Dirty Bastard died.

Aussie dates are:

August 11, Sydney, Hordern Pavillon
August 12, Melbourne Festival Hall
