Bret Michaels has taken to his official website to thank fans for their support over the last 6 weeks following his brain hemorrhage.
Bret wrote:What an unbelievable six weeks it's been. Who would dreamt that while recovering from an appendectomy that you would have a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage? Events like this certainly put life into perspective.
All the prayers, thoughts, and well wishes have certainly heard and without a doubt helped me through this trying time. My supporters and fans have always meant the world to me and I can't thank you enough for the kindness and love you guys have sent to me and my family.
Despite a few setbacks and hiccups along the road to recovery, my only goal and intention is to get back to 100 percent health as soon as possible, so I can get back and give you all 200 percent. Without a doubt the rock and roll will resume very shortly.

Today he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Prior to the appearance, the site warned fans that Bret would have a slight, noticeable drooping on one side of his face which they expect will go away with rehabilitation.
Bret will also appear on the finale of The Celebrity Apprentice this weekend in New York.
