Jay-Z has, after after eleven albums and a never ending list of instantly recognisable singles, got a greatest hits album on the way.
The album will be called ‘Jay Z - The Hits Collection Vol. 1’ and hits 45 days, 20 hours, 48 minutes and 13 seconds after I wrote this sentence. I know this because of a fancy new site telling me. You can see for yourself by clicking here.There is no track listing specified, but there is a small media player in the top that features tracks ‘D.O.A.’, ‘Empire State of Mind’, ‘Public Service Announcement’, ‘Run This Town’ and ‘Where I’m From’.
This is no real indication of what the final track listing will be, but it is interesting to note that three of those tracks are singles from Z’s last record ‘The Blueprint 3’.
Jay Z - The Hits Collection Vol. 1 will be in stores from June 29.
