The Celebrity Apprentice was narrowed down to the final five contestants this week following the departure of Cyndi Lauper. The question now is “Could Bret Michaels win”?
Lauper blew it in the 9th episode after she got angry at some hired workers who were there to help her team. The nail in her coffin was confessing to not having the original idea for her task, creating a Celebrity Room in a prestige apartment.“Cyndi, you know I’m a big fan of yours,” Donald Trump said. “You are an amazing woman. I love your music but why did you bring up the fact that it was Holly’s idea?” referring to the task.
“Because it was true,” was the Lauper response.
“Okay, Cyndi, you’re fired,” said the Don.
Lauper looked shocked, threw her hands in the air and muttered “alright” before standing up and walking off.
“Cyndi, I don’t want you to leave like this,” Bret Michaels said as she headed for the elevator.
“I’m leaving. It’s like high-school, Bret. It’s like fucking high-school,” she responded.
In the car driving off Cyndi said, “I do not think Donald made the right decision ... now that I’m not there, lets see how it goes without me.”
And then there were five. Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne, Curtis Stone, Holly Robinson-Peete and Maria Kanellis will return for episode 10 when two will be fired next week.
Bret Michaels is looking good, so too is Sharon Osbourne and Curtis Stone. This race is currently too close to call.
