The one off shows Tumbleweed did last year has turned out to be a permanent reunion.
The Wollongong band has announced they are now writing material for a brand, spankin’ new studio record and will also release a double CD of all of their early Waterfront recordings.Tumbleweed formed in 1990 and were picked up as the support for the one and only Nirvana tour of Australia in 1992.
They were then signed to Polydor Records and released three studio albums through Polydor before breaking up.
They reformed last year to perform at Homebake and did a quick whip around parts of the country.
Tumbleweed performed in Brisbane earlier this week. They have a show scheduled in Melbourne on June 25.
