The second album for Pegi Young will be released in June.
‘Foul Deeds’ was previewed live at SXSW this year with the band Pegi shares with her husband Neil, Ben Keith on slide, Rick Rosas on bass, Anthony Spooner on guitar and vocals and special guest Spooner Oldham on keyboards.Pegi took 30 years to release her debut album in June 2007. ‘Foul Deeds’ will hit exactly three years later.
While husband Neil was on guitar on the first album, ‘Foul Deeds’ does feature him but only on songs left over from the first album. Neil doesn’t play on any of the newer songs.
Neil has his own record coming soon. ‘Twisted Road’ has recently recorded with Daniel Lanois on production duties. The ‘Twisted Road’ tour will kick off in Albany later this month.
The ‘Neil Young Trunk Show’, directed by Jonathan Demme, will be released soon on DVD.
We may have to wait a bit longer for the second Archive box set than previously mentioned. Realistically, we hear you may have to wait until 2012 for the second box. Apparently Neil’s work experience kid got a little anxious with his information.
