Melbourne electro band Declan and the Antics have made a super cool/hot video with the help of a thermal imaging camera.
The clip was directed by award winning director Natasha Pincus (who also did Paul Kelly’s ‘God Told Me To’ clip), who had been tossing around the idea of doing a thermal clip for yonks and she finally got the opportunity to do it with ‘Born For The Lightlife’.Thermal imaging works because the heat of an object gives off infrared radiation. This is exactly the same as the visible electromagnetic radiation (light), but with a longer wavelength than our eyes can detect. We feel this radiation as heat and thermal imaging cameras pick up these rays in exactly the same way as a regular camera would.
The clip shows Pincus pushing the boys to have as much fun with this cool technology as they can. Check it out:
