Poison singer Bret Michaels is in a critical condition after suffered a brain hemorrhage in Los Angeles.
The 47-year old singer was rushed to hospital at around midnight Thursday night after complaining of an “excruciating headache”. Doctors discovered he had suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage.Just a few weeks ago on April 12, Michaels had an emergency appendectomy.
Michaels formed Poison in 1983. Their big hit album was ‘Open Up and Say ... Ahhh!’ featuring ‘Every Rose Has A Thorn’ and ‘Nothin’ But A Good Time’.
Currently Michaels appears as one of the contestants of The Celebrity Apprentice.
He has also had his own reality show ‘Rock of Love’.
This year he released the single ‘Nothing To Lose’ with Miley Cyrus for his next album ‘Custom Built’.
Michaels is a diabetic.
Donald Trump, star of The Celebrity Apprentice, today said in a statement "I am deeply saddened to hear about Bret Michaels. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time. He's a great competitor and champion and I hope he will be fine."
