The New York Dolls are planning a tribute to Malcolm McLaren this week in London.
The New York Dolls will dedicate "Jet Boy" to Malcolm McLaren during the encore of their London Koko show on April 19th. It is rumoured that the Dolls will be joined by some "very special guests" during the tribute."Malcolm meant a lot to the Dolls and to me personally," says Sylvain Sylvain, "I was shocked when I received the news of his death last Thursday. I've known Malcolm since the early seventies, and even after the original line-up of the Dolls split, we remained close friends."
Adds Sylvain - "We're dedicating Jet Boy to Malcolm and we've extended invitations to some British musicians to participate. It's going to be really special. God bless Malcolm McLaren."
