The new Iron Maiden album is nearing completion according to producer Kevin Shirley.
In a posting at his official website, Shirley has announced that he has “finished all the vocals and tracking and mixed the new Iron Maiden album, The Final Frontier - in my studio”.‘The Final Frontier’ is the 15th studio album for Iron Maiden and first since ‘A Matter of Life and Death’ from 2006.
It is also the longest gap between Iron Maiden albums ever.
‘The Final Frontier’ is yet to be given a release date but expect it to surface in the third quarter of this year.
