Ciara has taken the crown from both Eminem and Gwen Stefani by debuting above the two stars on this weeks American chart.
Ciara's sophomore album 'The Evolution' sold 338,447 units in the USA last week, to earn its number one debut.Her debut album 'Goodies' debuted at number 3 in the USA with first week sales of 124,750.
Eminem's 'The Re-Up' will debut at number 2 with sales of around 293,000 while Gwen Stefani's second solo album 'The Sweet Escape' crawled in to third spot with sales of around 252,000.
The disappointment of the week is the 'Dreamgirls' soundtrack featuring new music from Beyonce. It will come in outside the Top 20.
Stayers in this week's top 10 are Il Divo, Daughtry, The Beatles and Sarah McLaughlin.
