The Strokes will be in Australia for two shows in July.
The band featuring Julian Casablancas, Albert Hammond Jr, Fabrizio Moretti and Nikiolai Fraiture have been recording a new album in New York.Since 2006’s ‘First Impressions of Earth’ the individual members have been working on side-projects and solo albums. The yet-to-be titled 4th album is being produced by Joe Chiccarelli (U2, Beck).
“I’ve written a lot of melodies for it,” Casablancas told the Chicago Tribune. “The other guys have also contributed a lot more: melodies, choruses, parts. It’s way more collaborative. It will have a different feel to our other albums”.
