Motorhead mainman Lemmy Kilmister will spend this week in Austin at the movies, on stage and talking up the film about his life.
‘Lemmy’ has its world premiere on Monday night in Austin at the Paramount on Congress Avenue followed by a Q&A as part of the SXSW Film Festival.On Tuesday night, Motorhead will perform at Stubbs BBQ. Wednesday afternoon, Lemmy will be interviewed at the Austin Convention Center for SXSW and on Wednesday night Motorhead will perform at the Austin Music Hall, headlining a showcase featuring Melissa Auf Der Maur, Straight Lines, Michael Munroe and Voivod.
Then Friday night, the Lemmy movie will screen again for SXSW Music followed by a Q&A with Lemmy, director Greg Olliver and producer Wes Orshoski.
Lemmy the movie features appearances from Alice Cooper, Dave Grohl and Billy Bob Thornton.
