Robyn Loau, who made her name in the early 90s with Sydney girl group Girlfriend, is making a comeback.
After 3 years working on new music in London, New York, France and Germany, Robyn recruited the likes of Andy Page (Madonna, Pink, Sasha, BT), Crucial D (Wicked Beat Sound System) and DJ Jigsaw from Aussie hip hoppers, the Resin Dogs to help out on the project.She has written her new music with help from Josh Abrahams (Addicted to Bass), Cameron McGlinchey (Rogue Traders), Jarrad Rogers (Lauryn Hill, Brand New Heavies), Adamski, Resin Dogs , Len Arran and Skin (Skunk Anansie).
The result will be the independently released 'She Devil'.
A video for the title track was filmed by cinematographer Brodie Higgs at the Twelve Apostles in Victoria.
The single will be released in January 2007, followed by an album later in the year.
