The legendary Ray Davies of Kinks fame will play a showcase gig at SXSW in a few weeks.
Davies will perform at La Zona Rosa, the one time service station that is now a music venue.Ray is heading back to SXSW to mark the release of last years The Kinks Choral Collection featuring new versions of his old Kinks songs.
The SXSW will feature Ray with guitarist Bill Shanley for the first bit followed by L.A. Rockers The 88 closing the set.
Ray Davies will perform on March 18 at the Austin venue.
