Mumford and Sons have rolled out a few new songs in concert and are now ready to start recording.
The band previewed three new songs for an Xfm showcase and plan recording sessions in 2010.Mumford & Sons played three new songs for their Xfm Session With Barclaycard Unwind at The Hoxton Bar & Grill. 'Lover Of The Light’, 'Whispers In The Dark’ and an untitled song are among a number of songs the acclaimed folksters are preparing to record.
'We’ve got a few more that are around the periphery', said Marcus Mumford. 'We haven’t had much of a chance to get in a rehearsal room and actually play them through so we play them in soundchecks.
'We’re hoping to be in the studio this year. The songs are coming and it feels natural'.
