Scissor Sisters will perform a showcase gig at SXSW in March.
The New York band featuring Jake Shears and Ana Matronic will soon release their third album.The band started work in the studio on this record back in August 2009 with producer Stuart Price.
Tracks expected for the yet-to-be named record include ‘Hollywood Wives’, ‘Invisible Light’, ‘Skin The Cat’ and ‘Permanent Wave’.
The SXSW showcase on March 20th will also include The Drums, Minus The Bear, Circa Survive and The Like.
Other new acts this week on the SXSW schedule include Wale, John Hiatt, Country Joe and Sum 41.
