House star Hugh Laurie will be heard playing piano on the next Meat Loaf album.
While the House star is best known for his acting he has had a few music roles over the years. He appeared in the Kate Bush video for the 1986 single ‘Experiment IV’ and was also seen in Annie Lennox’s clip for ‘Walking On Broken Glass’.Meat Loaf is about to release his new album ‘Hang Cool Teddy Bear’ and apart from Laurie the album also features Queen’s Brian May, Jack Black, Just Hawkins from the Darkness, Steve Vai and songs written by American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi.
‘Hang Cool Teddy Bear’ is a concept album based on a short story by Killian Kerwin about a man wounded in a war.
The album will be released on April 23.
