The Vatican newspaper, L`Osservatore Romano, has named The Beatles `Revolver` as the best Pop and Rock album of all-time.
The newspaper has compiled a Top 10 of what is considered to be the 10 essential albums you would need if marooned on a desert island.It says the list is not to be taken too seriously and we doubt any of these albums would be on The Pope’s iPod.
The list included:

3. The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
4. Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
5. The Nightfly by Donald Fagen
6. Thriller by Michael Jackson
7. Graceland by Paul Simon
8. Achtung Baby by U2
9. (What's the Story) Morning Glory by Oasis
10. Supernatural by Carlos Santana
