The new version of We Are The World has been released to raise money for the devastated region of Haiti.
Actor/singer Jamie Foxx introduces the video stating Twenty-five years ago Quincy Jones gathered an amazing group of artists and musicians to create we are the World, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.Foxx said, 'I'm so proud to be able to share a new version of that song. Two weeks ago we found ourselves surrounded by dazzling group of artists of all backgrounds, ages and genres, but all of whom share a common commitment to take action to help Haiti rise from the rubble and rebuild.
As well as the new 50-plus all-star cast including Barbra Streisand, will.i.am, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Tony Bennett and Rob Thomas, original writer Michael Jackson posthumously performs a duet piece with his sister Janet Jackson.
