Geisha have made a video for the track `Mystery Writer` off the new album `Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow`.
Liam Firmager directed the video. “He did the Birthday video for us. He is also directing a new Aussie movie called RICKY! which is out in a few months time,” singer Chris Doheny tells Undercover.com.au. “Its got a swag of cameo of stars in the movie to from Ron Jeremy, Steve Kilbey, Bruce Kullick, Elliot Easton, Gavin Wood, Chris & I, Dave Hughes, Dee Dee & Grubby etc etc.”.‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’ was released on indie Diamond Dogs Records.
The becomes the essential collection of Geisha’s 80s hits and was updated with four news songs including ‘Mystery Writer’, the previous single ‘Birthday’ and covers of The Beatles’ ‘Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’ and The Small Faces ‘Tin Soldier’.
Chris Doheny formed Geisha in 1983. The band broke up in 1988 but in 2005 Doheny teamed with guitarist Joe Matera to bring Geisha into the 21st Century.
‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’ features every single since 1985 released by Geisha.
