You see, Jimi has a new album called ‘Valleys of Neptune’ It features 12 previously unreleased studio recordings, 10 of which were recorded between February and May 1969.Sony Music is giving you the chance to win this collectors edition not-for-sale Jimi Hendrix signature edition iPod touch, a Jimi Hendrix canvas print and a Jimi Hendrix CD pack featuring ‘Band of Gypsys’, ‘Experience Hendrix’, ‘First Rays of the New Rising Sun’, ‘Are You Experienced’, ‘Axis: Bold As Love’, ‘Electric Ladyland’ and ‘Smash Hits’.
‘Valleys of Neptune’ features never officially released songs, including the title track, ‘Mr Bad Luck’, ‘Sunshine of Your Love’, ‘Ships Passing Through The Night’, ‘Lullaby For the Summer’ and ‘Crying Blue Rain’.
It also has the first studio recordings of the previously released live tracks ‘Lover Man’ and ‘Hear My Train A Comin’, plus alternative versions of ‘Stone Free’, ‘Red House’ and ‘Fire’.
