As is the case with every year in the legendary South by Southwest music conference in Austin, TX, a large selection of Australian bands will decent on the small Texas capital.
Some of Australia's legends have decided to make the trek, including the Beasts of Bourbon, the Hoodoo Gurus and Paul Kelly.The older folk will go alongside younger established groups like Sarah Blasko and Evermore, and Australia's next great hopes, AC/DC clones, Airbourne (hey, I love them as much as the next guy, but come on...), Wolf & Cub, The Presets and Wolfmother and a few young hopefuls like The Panda Band and Children Collide.
Sydney based inexplicable noise-god Spod will also make the journey. His "radness" deserves its own paragraph.
New Zealanders hoping to get their big break over there include Elemeno-P and nu-metallers, Blindspott.
