I have to admit. News of Fergie recording with Slash sounds like a sign of the apocalypse to me so best to make your peace now.
This new Slash all-star album that we’ve been talking about for ages is about to be released and it has a lot of big names.Just to name-drop a few, try Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Chris Cornell, Wolfmother’s Andrew Stockdale, Iggy Pop, Kid Rock, and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.
QOTSA’s Eric Valentine is there, as is Jane’s Addiction bass player Chris Chaney and jack-of-all-bands Josh Freese.
“The idea was really simple in the beginning,” Slash said in a statement. “These are all artists I wanted to work with , that I thought it would be amazing to do something creative and collaborative. And I was so impressed with what everyone brought to the table. They were all so committed to doing a good job. And we had a lot of fun making these songs.”
The album will be titled ‘R&FN’R’.
