The 2007 Grammy awards have been announced with Mary J. Blige being nominated for a staggering eight awards.
Blige has had a mammoth year after picking up 9 awards at the Billboard Awards in Las Vegas last week.Other big nominees include Red Hot Chili Peppers with 6 nominations, while newcomer James Blunt, Prince, The Dixie Chicks and John Mayer all scored multiple nominations.
Aussie rockers Wolfmother, who have taken America by storm over the past year are up for best Hard Rock Performance.
