The new version of We Are The World was recorded in Los Angeles on Monday.
Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie decided to recreate the 80s charity hit to raise money for the people of Haiti.Stars included Richie’s son-in-law Joel Madden from Good Charlotte, as well as Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Akon from the hip-hop world, Keith Urban turned it a little bit country and Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand gave it some oldies appeal.
