AC/DC have modified their setlist by just one song for the Australian and New Zealand tour.
The home-run leg of the Black Ice tour kicked off in Wellington, New Zealand last night and the setlist only had one modification. ‘Dog Eat Dog’ was out; ‘High Voltage’ was in.Both songs revert back to the Bon Scott era of the band but ‘High Voltage’ was a bigger hit in Australia than ‘Dog Eat Dog’. ‘High Voltage’ peaked at no. 10 in 1975. ‘Dog Eat Dog’ reached no. 60 in 1977.
The glaring omission for the Australian leg of the tour is ‘It's a Long Way To The Top (If You Want To Rock and Roll)’. For some reason, AC/DC just don’t do it live.
Here is the setlist from last night in Wellington and a preview of what you can expect in Australia next month.
