My Chemical Romance's 'The Black Parade' album is not planned for a movie release, although singer Gerard Way told Billboard that the idea isn't a total write-off.
The rumours began when fans brought up the idea, and eventually it made it back to the band.Way told Billboard, "[A movie] is something that we would love to see. I can't say that people should expect it in the future, but I know it's in the public vibe right now and people are talking about it. So, we'll see."
The album is a concept album that tells the story of a man's last days on earth after being ravaged by cancer.
The beauty of the concept album is its ability to be adapted into film, most famously done by Pink Floyd with 'The Wall', an album 'The Black Parade' has been compared to.
