The Aussie BBQ at SXSW is moving for 2010. This year, the Aussie BBQ and Sounds Australia will combine forces to present Australia`s SXSW showcase acts at Maggie Mae`s on 6th St, Austin.
The Australia day has also changed from the traditional Friday. The Aussies will perform day and night on the three levels of Maggie Mae’s on Saturday, March 20.At night, the normal SXSW showcases will continue at the famed Austin venue with Dappled Cities, the Middle East, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Chevelles, Karnivool and Philadelphia Grand Jury playing through the night.
The daytime schedule is currently being worked on with the final announcement expected in the next few weeks.
