Simon Cowell and Sony today announced the creation of a new company to focus on the production of Cowell`s television and music assets.
The new business will use the existing name Syco and include the shows ‘The X Factor’ and ‘Got Talent’ as well as the artists Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis and Il DivoCowell will create an American version of ‘The X Factor’ and act as both Executive Producer and Judge.

Syco had the biggest selling album in the world last year with Susan Boyle ‘I Dreamed A Dream’. Artists under Cowell have sold 180 million albums and 150 million singles.
