So here we go:

I know I have no writing or grammar skills so chill if there is any English Professors reading this.

Is Black Ice any good?

Yes! What the hell did you think?

This is AC/DC we're talking about. Its a top notch AC/DC offering.

Here are some of my observations about the "Black Ice" album and I hope my fellow fans will agree that some of the songs have a fresh AC/DC feel to them.

AC/DC has played within a certain musical range their whole career and that's why I love them. You know what your gonna get when you buy an album. That being said, on this album they used their successful formula, but added a slightly new sound to some songs. Big AC/DC fans will know what I mean.

Some examples would be Brians singing. Just listen to Money Made, Anything Goes, and Rock N Roll Dream. Another neat thing is when we are treated to Malcolm and Cliffs voices singing backup on Money Made, She Likes Rock N Roll, Rock N Roll Train. I like how the are a little louder than usual. The guitars sound classic as usual.

I was expecting more BAM BAM BIG riffs, but I didn't get them. Instead we got a way better classic rock sound and I love that! Cliffs bass is wild on She Likes Rock N Roll. The Production is a perfect compliment to AC/DC. On Anything Goes I like how the snare gets more reverb on certain parts to say "this part is the chorus" being that the song doesn't have a chorus chant. Also the echo of Brians voice on the end of Rock N Roll Dream sounds so good. Rock N Roll Dream is a solid song that I think some fans will get after a few listens.

I think this album and its already classic status is all thanks to the record label not putting one ounce of pressure an AC/DC about getting it out. Also that AC/DC are able to worry about their craft and song writing rather than if their album will sell well. I mean the moneys all in the bank, the icon status is already their. I think this album is really personal for them. Not in the way like "see, we are still good after all these years" but rather "here is a solid album from us and we hope you love it as much as we do".

Such a fresh sounding album!! I already have like four chorus's stuck in my head. "SHES ROCKING ALL THE WAY!" "WORK WORK MONEY MADE...THAT MONEY MADE"

"SHE LIKES ROCK N ROLL...I LIKE ROCK N ROLL " "RUNNIN RIGHT OFF THE TRACK"

I think this album is Brians Powerage!

and one a little more concise:

Good album. Rock N Roll Dream and Anything Goes are highlights. A lot of thought has gone into the arrangement. Bit poppy in places! Beano puts on a great performance. 8 out of 10.
